FILE SPECIFICATIONS

Large Format Printing (CMYK)

Please ensure your files meet the specifications outlined below. Files that are not print-ready and subject to pre-press alterations will incur charges of $60/hour and will delay delivery.

ACCEPTABLE FILE FORMATS

eps, ai, pdf, and psd files -save each print separately, do not save multiple prints into one PDF file. We no longer accept Quark files. Do not send flattened artwor k files.

 

FONTS

CONVERT ALL TEXT TO OUTLINES. Do not include fonts - please convert all text to outlines. If you are unsure how to do this please call our graphics designer for instructions.

 

RESOLUTION

Artwork must be 150 DPI or more DPI at 100% print size.

 

BLEED

Please add at least 1 inch bleed to all sides of artwork files.

 

FOR BANNER & ROLL-UP SYSTEMS

Please provide the necessary graphic bleed at bottom. See individual product specs for bleed requirements. For example, if your banner is 84.5”h - please include the extra 5.5“ of graphics for bleed at bottom.

 

PROOF-READING

Please proof read all text before sending artwork and upon receipt of proofs. We are not responsible for spelling and/or grammar errors.

 

HOW TO SEND US YOUR FILES:

1. Include your company name and description of artwork in file name (ie. Nimlok_Banner1.eps).
2. Upload by FTP : go to www.speedprocanada.com/upload and click on locations, go to the Hamilton location and follow the prompts.
3. You may also send artwork to us on a CD or DVD.
4. Some vector files may be small enough to email.
